Our school offers various programs for improving word recognition and text comprehension. We apply the GDRP, and we also have pull-out classes for learners who struggle vehemently in reading.

Everyone knows that learning to read and comprehend is the ultimate goal of education. As it is said, "Reading is the foundation of living a good life". And learning to read in early grades is a good predication of success in later life. With that, Department of Education constantly implements policies for the development of reading among children.

Manuel Lugod Central School as an implementing institution incessantly nurtures and develops each pupil's potentials by seeing to it that each pupil should be taken care of and each pupil's needs should be addressed and remedied.

Considering each pupil's multiple intelligences and learning styles, Manuel Lugod Central School experiences as what other schools have experiences having pupils in schools who need assistance in learning to read. And this perennial dilemma doesn't end. As the school receives new enrollees every school year, it is also tantamount to sat that another group of pupils with reading problems that the school will address will come from group of learners. And the same OH story goes on and on.
